It all started when I was a little boy helping my dad to keep the cars running. In the '70s we worked on the two family cars, a 66 VW Beetle and a 68 Mercury Comet. We, at one time also had a 54 Chevy Truck while we had the other two. I learned a lot about tearing down and rebuilding sections of various cars between the ages of 6 and 12. My dad spent a lot of time overseas and I still took care of the cars while he was not around. By the time I was ten years old I had learned to tear down and rebuild lawnmower engines, as well as provide maintenance to our cars. The neighbor, up the street, owned this dragster that he hauled over to Sunset Speedway in Omaha, Nebraska. Then, in 1977, when I met my uncle Joe for the very first time; I got bit bad. Uncle Joe had this sweet 1970 Impala SS that was an absolute beast. I was 13 and the stage was set for the rest of my life .....
