1979 Mercedes Benz 300CD
These old 5 cylinder diesels are actually pretty cool. These things run very well when properly maintained and are fairly easy to maintain. We bought two of these old mercedes as an experimint (sort of) to see if bio-diesel was feasible for long term personal use. It turned out to be way too much work to be sustainable. We did homebrew for almost two years. I started at a low point in my work schedule and as the heat built up in my schedule I was unable to continue production. The blue one is the 79 and the white one is the 82.
